Class Description:
Come learn to doodle...with paint!!!
Paint and embellish your very own Doodle Bag!!!
No experience necessary...no tools required...as long as you have a name..YOU can do this!!!
Me and my mission ..... Homegrown Hospitality is all about the passions so many of us share... Preserving the past, remembering the moments... Random Acts... serving others, living out our dreams, turning the complex back into simple, enjoying more of each other, journaling the good times, and the not so good times... getting back to the basics of the good life... like making lemonade from the lemons in life... as well as maybe lemon meringue pie, lemon drops, lemon oils... taking one thing and turning it into many things, for you, your family and your friends to enjoy. It is not just about scrap booking & paper.

What you will need for this class:
- Bring any Making Memories paint that you have like (reds, blues, greens, yellows)
other than that I am bringin' it all!
Ways of remembering & creating good things & wonderful feelings. Things, that in our hustle-bustle, fast paced "drive through" lifestyles get lost and or forgotten about. To sum it up, I have come up with my very first quote...
"The simple things you already know, you just forget to remember:"
I am here to help you, remind you, teach you and to hopefully inspire you to recapture the concept of Home Sweet Home. To slow down, to take time, to reflect, to remember... to just be. Be content, be patient, be kind, be giving, be compassionate, be attentive, be aware... be creative... so many ways to just be.
For me, in my hectic, boy filled life of skateboard parks, homework, dirty faces, baseball practice, volunteering, cake baking, church going, car washing life... Scrapbooking, journaling, baking, sewing & crafting are my sanctum's of peace. They are my outlets and source of relaxation. To some, that will make no sense, but for others, it will make perfect sense!
It all helps to keep me in check and full of thoughts and memories to offset the hub-bub of this wacky world we live in.

I love to inspire others to find their "artistic voice". My mom "made" me take art my freshman year in high school and I quickly realized that something that I thought was nerd... could satisfy my soul. After school I ended up spending several years working in a corporate job that was "non-artsy". It took a serious car accident to convince me to return to feeding my passion for art. I've learned that sometimes we need to be nudged into trying something that we aren't used to and in the process we may find that "different" is a very good thing.
I have a dream job working for Prima Marketing, Inc... my absolute, most favorit-est scrapbook product manufacturer. I am a published altered art and scrapbook designer, I am on the design team at The Red Bee, I was on Scrapbooks etc's web-show "Scrapbook Lifestyle" and I coordinate the "PrimaDonna" Program. (Prima endorsed teachers)
