Imagine a gathering of almost one hundred artists not just creating art, but creating awareness that would save lives.
Face of doll. This very idea was brainstormed by Jan Brown, Aileen Roberts and Kris Henderson. Our fund raising project began with the idea of creating an art doll that would literally be built with contributions of art. Our project would end with a raffle for the doll, and all funds raised would be donated to charity. This is how the Ties That Bind Doll Project benefiting ovarian cancer was created. We came together to benefit women and a cause that often goes unmentioned.

Our mission is simple in concept. Artists united in their creativity to benefit Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. 100% of the profit goes to the OCRF, in support of their mission to help ovarian cancer patients and their loved ones.

All the stories and inspiration involved with this project brings us to the whole point of the Ties That Bind Doll Project, Education. Ovarian cancer symptoms mimic simple ailments. Early detection can save lives. Visit www.ocrf.org and learn what to look for and what you can do to prevent tragedy. Talk to your doctor. Ask for information.

The winner of the raffle will be drawn on the last Day of September. You can purchase a ticket for $5 or 6 tickets for $20.

Ties That Bind Art Doll This amazing doll is a collection of handmade men's ties and charms each uniquely created by individual artists and then put together by Jan Brown to make this almost life size doll. We are selling raffle tickets for $5 each or 6 tickets for $20. This handmade doll is priceless, with charms donated by over 100 artist such as Tim Holtz, Michael deMeng, Joanna Pierotti, Ruth Rae, Leighanna Light, Mary Beth Shaw and Sally Jean just to name a few. Don't forget as an added bonus we are giving you 2 extra tickets for every $20 you donate!

We have until September 30th to raise as much money as possible. On the 30th of September we will draw the lucky winner! If you live outside the United States we are happy to have your support however, because of shipping costs and the fragility of the doll, we can only ship to a U.S. address (including Alaska and Hawaii).
